Bruce Ramer is a partner at the firm of Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman, Inc., specializing in entertainment/media law.
Mr. Ramer obtained his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his law degree from Harvard Law School.
Mr. Ramer serves as a member of the Board of Trustees, University of Southern California. Bruce is also the Chair of the USC Institute on Entertainment Law and Business, as well as a member of the Board of Councilors of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education, member of the Board of Councilors, University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, and member, Board of Governors, Center for the Digital Future, USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and former Chair. He is an Executive Advisory Council Member of the American Archive of Public Broadcasting. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the National Archives Foundation.
Bruce is the Founding Chair of the Geffen Playhouse (UCLA) Los Angeles; member of the Board of Directors of the West Coast Peabody Awards and former Chairman.
He is also a former member of the Board of Governors, American Jewish Committee (“AJC”) and the Board of Directors of the Regional Chapter of AJC, LA and formerly National President. Bruce is also a former member of the Executive Board of Directors for the US branch of the Scholas Occurrentes (Latin for "Schools that Meet”.)
Bruce is a member of the California Bar Association and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.
